We provide customers who want premium international coverage with products and services to access the healthcare they need anytime, around the world, whether at home or when studying, living, travelling or working abroad.Bupa Global has offices around the world including London and Brighton (UK), Dublin (Europe), Miami (USA), Dubai (UAE, in partnership with OIC), Egypt and Hong Kong (China) as well as regional offices in mainland China, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Panama, Guatemala and Ecuador.As a Credit Controller you'll be part of the Debt Control Team, with responsibility for ensuring that customer payments are processed accurately and efficiently in line with or exceeding agreed targets, overdue debt is recovered as quickly as possible within agreed credit control processes and dealings with customers are performed in a professional and efficient manner.How you'll help us make health happen:Preparation of the daily bank receipts for application to the operating systemHandling the initiation of the automated and part automated payment files to our operating systemAdministration of the partly automated credit control notification file to ensure our customers are advised of any outstanding balanceAdministration of the file despatch between Bupa Global and our support partners Administration of the internal processes regarding the management of customers pending lapse, where payment is received but not applied to a policy, where a chargeback has occurred etcHandling the inbound enquiries from our support partners to resolutionHandling the inbound enquiries from our internal customersSupporting the reconciliation of bank account statements and credit card statementsEnsuring adherence to regulatory standards, such as Anti-Money laundering compliance and sanction compliance.Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:Appropriate level of experience in credit control function or similar account management specialist role, ideally within the insurance industry.A track record of achieving and exceeding targeted business results/KPIs, including achievement and evidence of high volume transactional work.Highly numerate with ability to process financial data quickly, and strong attention to detail.Experience of dealing directly with customers and communicating to them in a clear, concise and professional manner.Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.Track record of working effectively within a team environment.Track record of achieving and exceeding targeted objectives.BenefitsOur benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
