The company has gone through a sustained period of growth in recent times and as a result an exciting opportunity has opened up within the Credit Control department.As the Credit Control Supervisor, you will be working very closely alongside the Credit Control Manager and will be exposed to a number of responsibilities and duties allowing you to further develop your knowledge.Responsibilities of the Credit Control Supervisor include:Responsible for managing your own portfolio of clientsAccountable for the delivery of the team cash target and individual team KPIs; ensure the credit control team are maximising cash flow and keeping aged debt under controlProvide weekly reporting to the Credit Manager regarding cash collection and placement feesProactively recovering outstanding sales invoices as per agreed termsProactively reducing the debt of days to improve company cash flowPosting cash received from clients to the ledgerNegotiate payment plans with clients to recover outstanding debtsFollow the debt chasing process through to court actionPerforming other ad-hoc duties when neededSuccessful Credit Control Supervisor candidates will be:Experience of leading a small Credit Control teamExperience of Microsoft Word, Excel and SAGE Line 50.Clear and effective communicator at all levels in a professional mannerWilling to learn and possess a can do attitude but also be able to use your own initiativeComfortable in working in a fast paced environmentWell organised with good time management skillsIf you consider yourself to be a proactive rather than reactive individual, committed, career driven professional who can demonstrate the above experience and who would welcome the stimulus of this finance post then we would be pleased to hear from you.If you believe you have the necessary skills, ambition, and experience for this Management Accountant role, please apply now, or contact Harry Mellor at Sellick Partnership.
