Monitor outstanding balances and proactively address overdue payments.
Set and review customer credit limits and payment terms, ensuring they align with company policies.
Identify opportunities to optimise systems and processes, introducing improvements that enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate credit systems with broader business functions.
Partner with sales teams to ensure credit policies align with commercial goals and provide insights on credit risks.
Lead and develop the credit control team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
Support non-finance stakeholders by improving their understanding of credit-related procedures.
The Person This position is well-suited to an experienced credit control professional ready to step into a leadership role.
Youll need to be highly organised, proactive, and skilled at managing complex systems and processes.
Ideally, youll bring: A strong background in credit control, including at least two years experience in a management/team leader role Solid knowledge of credit risk, collections procedures, and financial controls.
Demonstrable experience improving systems and driving process change.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a data-led approach to decision-making.
