- M&A and Business Finance Remote / Hybrid (UK Based) About Us: Verilo is a leading business brokerage specialising in the health, medical, and wellness sectors.
We are expanding our service offering and are now seeking an experienced Credit Broker to join us and establish a new Credit Brokering division from the ground up.
This division will focus on M&A and business finance, supporting buyers in securing the funding they need for acquisitions and growth.
The Role: We are looking for a driven and entrepreneurial individual to take charge of building a Credit Brokering division at Verilo.
You will be responsible for setting up and managing all aspects of the division, including developing relationships with lenders, managing client transactions, and growing a team.
This is a unique opportunity to shape a new business unit within an established company.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and lead the credit brokering division, focusing on M&A and business finance within the health, medical, and wellness sectors.
Develop strong relationships with lenders, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to create a broad network of funding options.
Advise clients on financing options for business acquisitions, growth, and restructuring, tailoring solutions to meet their needs.
Manage the end-to-end brokering process, including client onboarding, deal structuring, and securing finance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Collaborate with the wider Verilo team to identify opportunities for business finance support within our existing and new client base.
Build and lead a high-performing credit brokering team as the division grows.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in credit brokering, with a strong focus on M&A and business finance.
In-depth knowledge of the financial products and services relevant to business finance, including acquisition finance, asset finance, and working capital solutions.
A network of lender relationships in the UK market.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to advise and guide clients through complex financing processes.
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and the drive to build a successful new division from scratch.
Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry compliance standards.
A self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team.
Salary & Benefits: Base salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus commission.
