We're looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Creative Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team at a Special Needs school in Grays.
Here, you'll support incredible students aged with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

About the Role: Engage and Support – Assist students in their lessons and social activities, helping them build skills that go beyond the classroom.
Empower Through Lifeskills – Guide students through hands-on lifeskills lessons, helping them gain the confidence and abilities they need to thrive.
Be Part of a Community – Work alongside passionate staff and students in a supportive, dynamic, and welcoming environment.
What We're Looking For: Experience with SEND Students – Prior experience is ideal, but a strong desire to learn and make a difference is essential.
Patience and Resilience – Capable of understanding and supporting students with unique needs and managing any challenging behaviour with a calm, empathetic approach.
Knowledge of De-escalation Techniques – Familiarity with de-escalation strategies and MAPA (Management of Actual & Potential Aggression) is a bonus.
Commitment to Safeguarding – Have or be willing to complete a safeguarding qualification (provided for free).
DBS Ready – An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or we can help you obtain one.
