Here at Vertu Motors we have a great opportunity for a Creative Production Manager to join our central marketing team in Gateshead.
We are looking for a talented operational people manager who will be responsible for scheduling, capacity planning, productivity, and line management of our in-house creative design studio team.
This role is suited to a manager with an operational leadership, planning, scheduling, and analytical background, rather than a creative design background, who would relish a role within a Marketing production environment.
Key responsibilities: Studio SLA performance and productivity.
Resource planning with capacity by skillset planned against known requirements.
Scheduling and Prioritisation of creative briefs into the studio.
Provide visibility of capacity and performance for senior management team with recommendations and options to make changes where required to improve outcomes (eg through overtime, freelance or training).
Line management of studio design team – performance management, development, coaching and non-technical training.
Studio process owner – analyse, review & improve productivity.
Build relationships with key stakeholders in the marketing team to understand future requirements that will impact capacity plans, overtime, and training.
Ownership of Canto (DAM) with best practice maintained for assets, templates & image rights licences.
Success in role will be dependent on the ability of the role holder to achieve excellent levels of service, productivity, and value through a combination of capacity planning and scheduling excellence, people development, effective prioritisation and process improvement based on actionable insight from delivery performance analytics.
An ideal candidate: Operational manager with capacity planning & scheduling experience An excellent people manager in a fast-paced environment that can develop & sustain a high-performance team culture.
Excellent communicator with exceptional stakeholder management skills to build strong collaborative working relationships across the marketing team.
Process design & analytics skillset to unlock SLA and productivity performance.
A driven pro-active operator with an inquisitive eye for detail to identify and drive improvements.
This is a full time permanent role with a salary up to £38,000.
