The Creative Director will lead the design team in developing and executing innovative design solutions that align with the SoftServe's brand and business objectives.
This role requires a proven, seasoned professional in creative design, a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, and proven leadership skills in growing and developing young talent into worldclass creatives.
One of the primary and more immediate areas of focus will be on brand visual identity refresh.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Leadership and Management: Manage the creative process from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and that match marketing objectives.
Lead and mentor a team of professionals responsible for delivering quality and creative design elements across a range of mediums.
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement, testing/recommending new technologies such as AI to help staff effectively and efficiently deliver on strategic design needs.
Establish performance benchmarks and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team members are meeting expectations and achieving growth.
Creative Strategy and Vision: Develop and implement a creative vision and strategy that aligns with the company's brand and business goals.
Lead the evolution of the brand's visual identity – keeping it fresh, modern, and relevant.
Ensure the highest level of quality and consistency in design output, maintaining a cohesive brand aesthetic.
Collaborate with marketing, technology COE, Alliance Partner teams and other functions to ensure differentiated, cohesive and effective design solutions.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices, incorporating relevant technologies to deliver quality creative at speed and scale.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of design projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and creativity – on time.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources from the team to meet deadlines and objectives.
Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed to support design initiatives.
Design and Innovation: Lead the development of creative concepts and design solutions for a variety of mediums, including video, digital, print, and multimedia.
Ensure all design work is visually compelling, on-brand, and effectively communicates the desired message.
Encourage and facilitate innovation within the design team, exploring new techniques and approaches to enhance the creative output.
Develop and maintain efficient design processes and workflows to optimize team productivity.
Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations.
Present and articulate design concepts and solutions to clients and stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.
Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all design work reflects the company's values and identity.
QUALIFICATION Bachelor's or master's degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role including both agency and corporate settings.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across all geos and time zones.
Proven track record of delivering innovative design solutions especially in a B2B context.
Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects across different mediums.
Exceptional leadership and mentoring skills, with demonstrable experience in growing and developing creative teams.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies to various stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), video production tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
as well as AI design tools (e.g.
Adobe Express, Canva, Designs.ai, etc.).
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity and innovation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION IT services or Consulting industry experience preferred.
Knowledge of web design, UX/UI principles, and multimedia design.
