Crane Operator

We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Ilkeston.
You will be part of a hardworking team of Ward employees who support in the recycling of over half a million tonnes of ferrous and non-ferrous metals each year.
Reporting to your Line Manager, you will carry out a range of duties across the department.
Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: Operating crane and other equipment in a safe, competent manner Monitoring materials and reporting any non-acceptable material items Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Carrying out general yard duties when required Skills and Knowledge Required: The successful candidate will have experience working as a 360 Material Handler Operator.
They will be self-motivated, hardworking, a team player, and willing to work the occasional weekend when required.
An NPORS Accreditation is preferred; however, it is not essential.
Experience operating Crane / Material Re-Handler and other equipment in a safe, competent manner Monitoring materials and reporting any non-acceptable material items Reforming material piles to ensure the most effective grab volume Maintaining a clean and safe work environment Experience operating various other plant and machinery (beneficial) What is in it for you?
