About the Role As a Cover Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in students' education.
You will deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and supported in the absence of their regular teacher.
Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 using provided materials.
Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
Adapt to different subjects and student needs as required.
Provide feedback on lessons and student progress to the school staff.
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements Previous teaching experience or a background in education.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Flexibility to teach various subjects and year groups.
Availability for immediate start on either a full-time or part-time basis.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
