Cover Supervisor Needed Location: East of England, Essex, South Benfleet Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £31,350 - £43,607 Per annum Job Duties: Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher Ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for students Follow the lesson plans provided by the absent teacher Manage student behaviour and maintain discipline Provide support to students in their learning activities Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics Experience working with children or young people Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics Education: A relevant educational qualification is desirable but not essential Experience: Prior experience working in an educational setting is preferred Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of classroom management techniques Ability to engage and motivate students Strong organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Full-time position with regular school hours Work within a school setting with exposure to classroom environments Opportunity for professional development and growth All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
