Cover Supervisor

Benjamin Britten Academy of Music and Mathematics  Job Title:      Cover Supervisor
Hours          37 Hours per Week
                   39 weeks per Year (Term Time plus one week)
Grade:         4 Point 9 - £27,269 Pro Rata
We require a Cover Supervisor to:
·      Provide cover for absent teachers across a wide range of subjects.

·      Implement pre-set work, monitor students and report on progress during teacher absence.

·      Complete some administrative/technical support for Departments when required.

·      Accompany school trips when required.

·      Offer both lunchtime and after school clubs.

If you are not required to cover classes then time will be spent in the classroom shadowing Departments, getting to know schemes of work etc and supporting the teaching.
