Cover Supervisor Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme Pay: £400 - £600 per week (dependent on experience) Connex Education Solutions, in partnership with the Shaw Education Trust, is seeking enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to support schools across Staffordshire.

About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, your responsibilities will include: Maintaining a safe, organised, and engaging classroom environment in the absence of the regular teacher.
Supporting students with pre-set work and encouraging them to stay focused and on task.
Providing clear instructions and guidance to help students complete their assignments.
Managing behaviour in accordance with the school's policies.
Adapting to work across various subjects and curriculum areas as needed.
Liaising with the absent teacher and passing on feedback about completed tasks.

Person Specification We are looking for individuals who: Have experience working in a classroom or educational setting, or hold an undergraduate degree (desirable).
Possess strong classroom management and communication skills.
Are comfortable working with a range of behaviours and abilities.
Hold a current DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one.
Have access to their own transport (desirable).
