Cover Supervisor Location: East of England, Essex, Brentwood Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £11.80 - £14.50 Per hour Job Duties: Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher Ensure a positive learning environment for students Follow the lesson plans provided by the teacher Maintain discipline and encourage student engagement Provide feedback to regular teachers on student behaviour and progress Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications Experience working with children or young people Good communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent Experience: Experience working with children or young people Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of classroom management techniques Ability to maintain a positive learning environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: Higher education qualifications in Education or related field Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor Working Conditions: Work in a school setting Full-Time hours with regular school hours Potential for additional responsibilities or duties as needed All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
