Court Of Protection Solicitor - National Practice - Manchester

This firm are seeking an experienced court of protection fee earner or junior Solicitor to join their national team.
You will be expected to deal a broad range of matters to include with:Professional deputyship work, including if possible, high value and complex mattersApplications to the Court of ProtectionContested Court of Protection matters, preparing instructions to counsel, Court bundles etc.Advice to families regarding LPAs and Lay deputyship applicationsInvestigation of financial abuseKnowledge of welfare issues affecting Protected PartiesKnowledge of different care funding options including local authority and NHS fundingDeprivation of Liberty Safeguards Ideally you will have gained experience of the above, or at least practiced within Court of Protection as a paralegal or during your training contract in a similar role.
Training will be offered for this opportunity and you will be working closely with & mentored by an experienced Partner & Senior Associate.
This firm are in the heart of Manchester and within short walking distance of tram / train stations.
The salary on offer is circa £40,000 - £55,000 with a great benefits scheme including hybrid working, free on-site gym, bonus scheme, free counselling, clear progression opportunities and 25 days holiday.
