Our Course Advisors form the Student Recruitment Team and sit within the Marketing and Recruitment Team, working closely with the Marketing Officers, Digital Marketing Officer and Content Assistants.
They are the first point of contact for all enquiries relating to online and blended learning, positively shaping prospective students' experience from day one.
As a Course Advisor, you will guide individual learners and corporate sponsors through the wide range of flexible learning options available at the University of Manchester, ensuring they feel supported at every step.
You'll also collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align recruitment efforts with business goals while prioritizing the student experience.
With your excellent written and verbal communication skills, you will encourage and proactively nurture qualified prospective students to apply.
You will engage with them at all stages through to enrolment, offering guidance and support, and making them feel part of our global community.
You'll demonstrate tenacity, working to commercial targets and will draw on your experience to develop and implement recruitment and conversion campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be confident analysing data, identify trends and developing strategies to support student recruitment across our portfolio of courses.
You'll be highly motivated with exceptional listening skills, demonstrating confidence at organising and presenting online and in-person events, balancing the demands of multiple prospective students whilst offering a first-class service.
Passionate about education, you'll want to help people reach their learning goals so they can make a difference and succeed in the world.
