Description Fixed term contract, Salary is pro rata Hours: 14 teaching delivery hours per week, 21 hours per week contracted (.57 FTE) We are seeking qualified Counsellor to deliver AIM's Level 4 Diploma in Counselling Practice.
Ideally you will be qualified to Level 7; as a minimum you must hold a Level 5 Counselling qualification.
We have two groups of very committed learners who are in their final year of the programme and preparing for assessments.
We are recruiting one or more tutors to support them to achieve their professional aspirations.
We require at least 14 hours of teaching per week, with face to face delivery on campus in Bath College's City Centre Campus between 9.30am and 4.30pm on Mondays and Wednesdays during College terms.
We are keen to support learners with additional sessions and these can be delivered during evenings and weekends.

Applicants must have relevant teaching experience and/or a qualification, and experience and/or a qualification in the relevant subject area.
Suitable teaching qualifications include one of the following: Level 3 or 4 Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) or above Level 3 Education and Training or above Diploma or certificate in education Bachelors or Masters Degree in Education Ideally we are seeking more than one individual to deliver the programme and share their expertise with our learners and this could be delivered as a job share with a fixed term contract to the completion of the qualification, with any additional hours paid via our bank hours arrangement.
Salary range: £30,654 - £38,110.
This role is eligible for a market supplement for the right candidate or candidates.
Alternatively we can offer bank arrangements with an hourly delivery rate of £29.72.

Key Responsibilities To deliver high standards of teaching and learning and to monitor assessment processes in accordance with examination requirements.
To deliver and assess and internally verify on a Level 4 Counselling course to a wide range of learners using appropriate teaching methods Co-ordinate and maintain accurate records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning carried in a standardised format on college approved systems.
Communicate external examination entry and timetable arrangements to the students and relevant teams.
Support learners with placements and ensure competency of both learners and placements Embed contextualised personal development within the core subject delivery.
Ensure that required course documentation is maintained Liaise and agree a plan of learning to deliver completion of the qualification with the Head of Department.
Take responsibility for IQA and final standards assessment, in line with exam board criteria.
