Council Tax Officer

Rate: £Negotiable DOE.
Contract Length: 3 Months Initially.
Working arrangements: Hybrid – 2/3 days on site, rest remote.
I'm currently working closely with an authority based in Lincolnshire who are recruiting for a Council Tax Officer on an interim basis.
To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience: Administer council tax accounts, including assessments, billing, and collection.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding council tax matters and provide excellent service.
Update and maintain council tax records and databases accurately.
Process applications for exemptions, discounts, and appeals.
Work closely with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and support revenue collection efforts.
IT System: Northgate OR Enterprise.
The client must have the core hours covered – 8:30am to 5:00pm on week days.
But can be flexible if candidates wanted to do Part Time.
