Job Title: Cost Controller Company: Sacyr UK and Ireland Location: New Velindre Cancer Centre, Cardiff, Wales As a Cost Controller , you'll play a pivotal role in our mission to create a state-of-the-art cancer center.

The Cost Controller will work with the project leadership and act as key liaison with internal and external accounting departments and service providers.
The role holder will be responsible for providing timely and adequate cost reports, and for developing and maintaining planned and actual project cost information and commitment schedules.

Key Responsibilities include: Develop report tracking tools and generate cost reports on regular basis including evaluation of earned value.
Provide forecasts and cash flow analysis.
Preparation and review of cost estimates.
Provide cost information to support decision and alternative selection.
Evaluate and analyse fee proposals / bids and provide recommendation for decision making.
Manage the cost report and provide regular updates on financial position.
Manage the development, validation, and maintenance of the project schedule.
Extract data from several sources, transforming it to fit operational needs.
Implement, administer, and maintain cost control systems and procedures to track project budgets, commitments, expenditures, and forecasts for projects of medium complexity and value.
Managing delegated resources (e.g., budgets, equipment, and contracts) as appropriate, to ensure value for money.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or another relevant business discipline.
Minimum of 1 years of Cost Control experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management Good cost accounting and financial principles related to project accounting backed by formal business training and an accounting designation.
Proven subject matter expert in project planning and scheduling abilities.
Experience with the front of the business and developing proposals.
General knowledge of contract terms & conditions and their relation to project accounting and planning.
Proficient with MS Office, MS Project.
Excellent verbal & written communications.
Capable of working independently and prioritizing efforts.
