About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager to enhance our growing Corporate Tax Team.
This role involves a blend of compliance management, advisory work, and business development, providing a unique opportunity to shape and influence client relationships while leading a talented team.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring compliance with UK Corporation Tax requirements while identifying opportunities for advisory projects, such as restructuring, acquisitions, and R&D claims.
Collaborate closely with audit teams and other tax specialists to deliver comprehensive services and support to clients.
Review tax provisions and computations prepared by team members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary contact for several key accounts and exploring opportunities for growth.
Lead and mentor junior staff, contributing to their professional development through training and support.
Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposals, to drive the growth of the Corporate Tax Team.
Qualifications & Experience: Proven experience in UK Corporation Tax, gained at a comparable firm in a managerial capacity.
Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax issues, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to non-experts.
Demonstrated ability to manage compliance work efficiently and profitably while supporting various tax advisory matters.
Relevant professional qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CTA) are desirable but not essential.
