This position can be based in either the Edinburgh or Glasgow offices of the firm or a blended mix between the 2 locations.

The Role The Corporate Tax Director will manage and grow a highly commercial portfolio of clients covering several sectors.
The role of Corporate Tax Director will encompass you being the main point of contact within the firm, an individual who strives to make a difference.
You will possess the ability to inspire other individuals within the team to challenge the norm and make a measurable impact on clients and their peers.
This opportunity will also include Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients, with a particular focus on excellent client service.
In addition to the above the below outlines a few other key duties.
Stakeholder in the delivery of the Tax strategic framework with involvement in tax planning and complex tax issues in conjunction with Partners & Directors Update Partners on any new business opportunities arising from existing or new clients Develop a network of contacts internally and externally allowing you to begin bringing on board your own client base, whilst unearthing opportunities to cross sell across the multiple disciplines within the firm Responsibility for review and delivery of the final advice to clients Liaise promptly and efficiently to client requests and needs, and update clients on progress in relation to all aspects of the service provided whilst maintaining regular contact throughout Responsibility for the coaching and development of junior staff members On Offer The position is based in Edinburgh, but suitable individuals are trusted to work from the Glasgow office on the Edinburgh portfolio.
