THE FIRM The London office of a global law firm.
THE ROLE A Corporate Knowledge Lawyer is sought for a role where much of the focus will include supporting the Corporate Finance practice, in particular in relation to listed public company advisory work.
However the role will also include spending substantial time supporting the practice of the Group more broadly.
Reporting to the lead Knowledge Lawyer, your role will be to make first-class corporate knowledge from London easily available to the firm's fee earners, increasing the quality, consistency and/or cost-effectiveness of the advice the firm gives its clients.
This will include inter alia, Knowledge and expertise, precedents, commercial/industry knowhow.Updates on key developments impacting the Group.Lawyer requests, responding to ad hoc enquiries from lawyers with on-point, thorough and timely answers.Knowhow development, collecting the Group's knowhow into the Firm's global repository of knowledge and populating global, multi- jurisdictional databases and resources.Training, including identifying and meeting the Group's training needsClient-facing knowledge, providing legal input into client-facing initiatives ABOUT YOUA corporate lawyer 5pqe+ with substantial experience gained in a London corporate team, you will have deep knowledge of corporate finance law, regulation and market practice applicable to listed companies - in particular, the Listing Rules, Prospectus Regulation Rules, DTRs, Corporate Governance Code and Companies Act.
Good knowledge of English contract law and either or both of equity capital markets and private M&A is strongly preferredPart time and / or hybrid working arrangements are available.An excellent salary package awaits the successful candidate.
