Role : Corporate Lending Director Location : London(Hybrid, with travel to London office on adhoc basis) Duration : 12 Months Rate : Competitive Role We are seeking a Corporate Lending Director to bring extensive corporate banking lending experience and technological expertise to our team.
The primary focus will be to provide insights into business and architectural queries related to corporate lending products and technology.
The role will encompass Corporate Lending and Credit Guarantees, with a specific emphasis on managing large corporate loans within commercial banking.
You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and key liaison between Deloitte and the client in managing the client relationship.
Key Skills and Qualifications: Professional Services and Commercial Banking experience working with large corporates , large banks and large corporate clients is essential.
Extensive experience in corporate banking lending or commercial lending, supporting and implementing large loans of >£50 million .
Knowledge of working with other banks on syndicate lending .
Strong product and process knowledge of complex loans, syndication and how to get product knowledge into structured systems Architectural experience of delivering different technology and understanding the product: requirements gathering, understand system needs, UAT and user experience.
Knowledge of Loan IQ/Finestra, ACBS/FIS Lending platforms Customer-focused approach - Strong client relationship skills in negotiating and liaising with corporates and C-suite stakeholders.
Experience in advising the client on their product strategy, approach and decision making relating to the newly provisioned banking platform (Loans, Guarantees, and Risk Engine).Excellent verbal and written communication skills Deliverables – responsibilities but not limited to Support the team with the management and delivery of the Programme re-set and associated milestones and deliverables in the contracted plan.
Support and advise the client on their product strategy, approach and decision making relating to the newly provisioned banking platform (Loans, Guarantees, and Risk Engine).
Ensure the solution teams deliver a fit for purpose, usable, and secure platform for core offerings, as per the defined contract commitments.
IR35 As a means of managing tax, commercial and reputational risks, Deloitte prohibits the use of Associates through Personal Service Companies ('PSCs').
All Associates must contract under PAYE arrangements through a Deloitte approved 'Employment Company' (aka 'umbrella company.')
