We'll help you succeed BDO's Corporate International Tax practice is a dynamic and successful area of our business. With international taxes being an increasingly high-profile field, and with nearly all businesses now having an international footprint, we can offer an exciting and broad range of quality career paths for ambitious people.
Our London based international tax team ("CITP") includes corporate international tax, transfer pricing and US business tax specialists, and this role is for a manager in the corporate international tax field.
Your primary responsibility will involve working, and developing relationships, with clients to advise on corporate planning and restructuring projects both in the UK and internationally, as well as producing complex UK tax computations and returns.
Key to the role is for the individual to be able to pro-actively manage their own workload, communicating with senior managers/directors/partners on a regular basis to service their clients. This is essential due to the size and nature of the team. Furthermore, the individual will be expected to be able to consider and highlight further opportunities to develop new work.
We're looking for someone with: Experience of providing corporate tax advisory and compliance services to a variety of clientsSkills to manage the successful delivery of commercially viable and technically excellent advice to a variety of clients involving tax due diligence, structuring, international and other advisory work, including liaising with specialists in other tax teams and overseas BDO offices to manage their inputDesire to collaborate with other tax specialists and BDO business lines to support your clientsAbility to undertake tax audits for clients under UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP (optional)Ability to prepare proposals for new work, including researching target client companies and on technical issues to identify new solutionsExperience of managing staffAbility to actively seek opportunities for selling new services to existing clientsEducated to degree level, and CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalentYou'll be able to be yourself; we'll recognise and value you for who you are and celebrate and reward your contributions to the business.
