Corporate Health & Safety Manager

Our client, based in South East London, is looking for a Corporate Health & Safety Manager to join them for an interim role.

You will be responsible for completing our client's H&S audit programme for 2024 and kick off the 2025 programme (reviewing service self-assessments, seeking supporting evidence, advising on remedial actions, and following up on their implementation).
You will oversee compliance visits across the corporate estate, ensuring remedial actions are identified and implemented, and work with the Housing Directorate to re-procure external contracts on statutory inspections (fire, legionella, asbestos).
Additionally, you will present H&S updates, including incident data, to quarterly governance meetings at the directorate and overall corporate board level.

To be considered for this role, you will need to hold relevant qualifications and have strong managerial experience.
Local Authority experience would also be beneficial.

Our client is offering £400 per day Umbrella and hybrid working arrangements.
This will initially be a 3-month contract but is expected to be extended beyond this date.
