In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving our pricing strategy, ensuring optimal profitability, and supporting our growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Pricing Development: Take the lead in developing and implementing pricing strategies for new prospects and existing clients, aligning with new product launches and strategic goals.
Profitability Optimisation: Utilise advanced modelling techniques to assess and refine pricing structures, making data-driven recommendations that directly impact our bottom line.
Modelling & Reporting: Build and document robust pricing models, generating insightful profitability reports that support our competitive positioning.
Risk Management: Develop and implement robust processes and controls to effectively manage pricing risks and mitigate potential business impacts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster strong relationships across departments, particularly with the commercial team, to drive growth and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
Strategic Insight: Provide insightful analysis that empowers our executive team to make bold, data-driven decisions that shape our future.
Leadership: Act as a key support to the Head of Pricing, deputising when necessary and demonstrating strong leadership qualities.
Qualifications & Skills: ACCA/CIMA Qualified or Part qualified Proven experience in pricing analysis, preferably within a commercial or financial setting.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling techniques.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
Experience with pricing software or tools is a plus.
