We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join their growing team and contribute to the success of their clients and the firm.
What is the role?
Advise clients on a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, and shareholder agreements Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including supply agreements, service contracts, distribution agreements, and licensing arrangements Manage the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and disposals, including due diligence, documentation, and post-transaction matters Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering proactive advice and ensuring exceptional service delivery What are we looking for?
We are seeking an experienced candidate with 3-6 years' PQE (pre-qualification experience may also be considered) and a proven ability to manage their own caseload The ideal candidate will have experience in both corporate and commercial law and a strong desire to expand their commercial expertise and practice.
This role presents a significant opportunity to shape the future of the firm's commercial offering Knowledge of employment law, particularly in drafting contracts, director's service agreements, and the TUPE Regulations, is desirable but not essential Experience in handling a broad range of commercial matters is preferred, including but not limited to contracts, tender processes, franchise agreements, distribution agreements, and e-commerce A passion for business development is key, with an expectation to contribute to the team's marketing initiatives and help shape the firm's business development strategy
