£55,000 - £60,000 12 month interim contract Immediate start available Hybrid working model, flexibility About your next employer VANRATH are pleased to be exclusively partnered with one of Northern Ireland's best known employers based in Belfast, who are looking to recruit a Corporate Accountant on a 12 month contract basis.
This is a contract opportunity initially, however due to exciting growth plans, this is an excellent foot in the door opportunity for the successful candidate with a chance to something longer term with an established business.
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Accounting, you will provide a comprehensive, professional financial management, accounting and reporting service to support the coordination of the annual budgetary and financial planning process and monthly monitoring with a remit to produce timely business critical information and analysis, assist accurate decision making, risk assessment, planning and provide rapid response trouble shooting when necessary.

About you Qualified Accountant Corporate Accounting experience Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work in an ever changing environment What you'll do To co-ordinate and prepare the business' Financial Forecasts and in-year Quarterly Estimates for submission to Planning and Finance Committee and Senate in line with pre-defined deadlines.
To co-ordinate and produce detailed annual budgets and financial operating plans ensuring they accurately reflect the underlying activities, operational risks and opportunities within the context of the business strategy.
To review monthly performance against budget/estimate at a Corporate level, providing detailed analysis and commentary on performance, understanding the key drivers of variances arising and highlighting emerging risks, issues and trends.
Manage the preparation of the Corporate Finance Report to agreed deadlines.
To support the appropriate allocation of resources and the development and implementation of a new Financial Operating Framework.
To ensure that financial and information systems are in place to enable the regular and systematic review of actual performance against budget, both in financial and non-financial terms, and develop the financial systems/budgetary control procedures within the business.
