Salary: £40,000 (inclusive of tronc)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join a renowned pub and restaurant in Chelmsford.
Recognized for its Michelin Bib Gourmand and 2 AA Rosettes, this establishment sets the benchmark for outstanding British cuisine and exceptional service, making it a perfect step for a motivated sous chef looking to grow.
The Role:
Assisting in the creation and execution of high-quality, seasonal British dishes.
Maintaining exceptional standards in food preparation, presentation, and consistency.
Supporting the Head Chef in leading a talented brigade and mentoring junior chefs.
Overseeing stock management, kitchen hygiene, and health and safety compliance.
Contributing innovative ideas to maintain the establishment's celebrated reputation.

What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally in a high-end pub or restaurant environment.
A strong passion for fresh, locally sourced ingredients and British cuisine.
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
A calm, focused, and hardworking attitude, even under pressure.
