This role will deliver compelling, engaging and persuasive content that communicate the Nyetimber and The Lakes Distillery's brand's values.
Delivering copy in line with the brand tone of voice across all touchpoints (internal and external), as well as working on brand campaigns.
This role will be instrumental in developing and maintaining distinct brand voices for both portfolios across key channels (advertising, packaging, digital, etc).
At the heart of the role is the ability to craft compelling stories and content that resonates with target audiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver Brand Messaging: Craft compelling, consistent and engaging messaging that brings each brand to life, showcasing the pioneering spirit of craftsmanship and luxury positioning of Nyetimber and the exciting and innovative positioning of The Lakes product portfolio.
Create Marketing Content: Write copy for marketing campaigns, adapting copy for platform and audience.
Write powerful copy for product launches and promotional materials as required.
Ability to apply SEO techniques to copy (keywords, structure, meta-titles, meta-descriptions) in order to produce engaging content for Nyetimber's website and digital/social media channels.
Product writing: Ability to write about wine and wine production and whisky and whisky production in an educated and compelling way.
Collaboration with creative teams: work closely with marketing colleagues on strategic and impactful copy.
Review and copyediting: Proofreading and editing of content to ensure it meets high quality standards, brand consistency.
Establish structure for copy internally, key phrasing documentation etc.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Extensive experience in a similar copywriting role ideally within the luxury sector.
Experience writing copy for luxury brands, with experience in wine, spirits or luxury lifestyle sectors preferred.
Experience in developing SEO-optimised copy.
Passion for storytelling and demonstrable experience elevating a brand with powerful copy.
Experience crafting copy for consumer-facing brand campaigns across various touchpoints.
Time management – ability to deliver copy to deadline.
Project Management – Ability to juggle multiple copy projects simultaneously and ensure clear communications with key stakeholders.
