The Content Editor is responsible for delivering high-quality English content across the website, app, and various channels for retail clients.
This role ensures adherence to brand tone of voice, alignment with the content strategy, and timely execution of updates.
The position also plays a key role in content quality control, development, and cross- functional collaboration to support business needs and evolving priorities.
Working across a variety of projects online and offline that will meet the ever-evolving needs of the business, meet stringent deadlines while having the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and maintain a high standard of communication across the wider teams and throughout the business.
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities Assist in developing the Style Guide and Tone of Voice for retail brand portfolios.
Contribute to brainstorming seasonal themes and stories for owned media channels.
Support glossary input and Translation Repository enhancements for Arabic content when needed.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure updates meet brand and business standards.
Manage BAU feedback from various teams and confirm updates with stakeholders.
Provide mentorship to junior editors and team members, supporting their development.
Manage weekly content updates, including homepage, category pages, listing pages, email, SMS, and push notifications.
Create and upload content across web and app platforms, ensuring it adheres to brand tone of voice.
Sub and proofread pages on internal CMSs, reviewing content for accuracy before setting it live.
Proofread and sub-edit all editorial copy, verifying accuracy and alignment with brand tone.
People Management Roles and Responsibilities Provide mentorship and guidance to junior editors and team members.
Collaborate with senior team members to support team skill development.
