You will work closely with colleagues both within the team and across NICE to plan, coordinate and monitor the progress of individual products and projects, ensuring consistency across the work programme.
You will also coordinate and support a variety of activities relating to methods projects, MET working groups, contract support and management, and provide general support for a range of internal and external meetings.Interview date is expected to be 16th December Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for: Assisting in the development and implementation of policies and working practices across the Methods and Economics team Acting as a contact point for internal teams and external organisations on matters relating to team programmes Developing and maintaining databases, dashboards, spreadsheets and other records systems Providing efficient and effective administrative support, including preparing correspondence and papers, collating, copying and distributing papers, managing diaries and making travel and accommodation arrangements Contributing to project planning and co-ordination and liaising with team members, other staff within NICE and external organisations to ensure that deadlines are met and to quality expectations Arranging for the appropriate authorisation and purchase of items requested by team members Co-ordinating and servicing large externally facing meetings and other events (both virtually and face-to-face), including booking rooms and facilities, preparing agendas and papers, minute taking, liaising with stakeholders about their contributions to meetings and ensuring timely distribution of papers Managing the arrangements for recruiting external stakeholders to contribute to the programme About us The Science Evidence and Analytics (SEA) Directorate is responsible for ensuring that NICE uses the best available evidence in its guidance to support decision makers across health and care.
Through its different teams, the Directorate's remit is to support the whole organisation.
The Methods and Economics team works to develop methods for aligning our approach to guidance development across NICE, provides a NICE-wide health economic modelling and analytic function and oversees management of external contracts to deliver a decision and technical support function for NICE.
