Cook  Who are we:    Curaa is a family-run, community-driven care provider with award-winning homes and a compassionate team that provides person- centred care.
Having launched in 2019, Curaa has grown its footprint across the South and Southwest of England and plans to continue on this journey in the future.
    If you are a kind, warm and compassionate person and want to have a positive impact on people's lives, then working as a Cook will be the right role for you.
  The successful applicant will:   Deliver food service of high quality within the home , and also with meal service to the residents.
  Prepare and cook all daily meals for residents and staff.
Also plan, prepare and cater for modified diets and special events such as birthdays, ensuring the highest quality and presentation of the food served and making sure the residents are happy with the service delivered in the home.
  D emonstrate the uppermost standards in cleanliness, food safety and hygiene in the kitchen area , including all equipment and appliances , adhering to all regulatory and statutory requirements and company policies and procedures.
  Clean and take care of equipment used to carry out tasks, such as utensils, plates, etc, and report any on any need for maintenance or replacement to the Catering Manager   Be organised and good at keeping record s as wel l as able to follow recipes .
    What we are looking for:    Someone who can d eliver a level of care that truly comes from the heart, making sure our residents never lose their dignity or sense of individuality as you get involved in catering for their individual needs.
Someone who likes to be proactive and forward thinking , who is passionate about cooking home cooked and nutritionally balanced meals as well as keeping the Kitchen clean and tidy.
    Requirements You will need to be:           A team player who engages well with others.
  Strong communicator and influencer.
  Energetic and hard-working.
  Flexible and adaptable to change.
  Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference.
  A glass-half-full person, with a sense of humour and a positive outlook.
  Available to work every Saturday and Sunday, plus holidays cover.
* Shifts would include every Saturday and Sunday.
Benefits We Offer:    Competitive base salary.    Refer a Friend scheme - £250 (Nurses); £150 (all other roles).    Enhancements of up to 2x salary for bank holidays.
