About the RoleDo you have experience of food preparation to a high standard?
Are you trained at Level 2 NVQ in Food and Hygiene?
If your answers are 'yes', we'd love to hear from you?Working at Strode Park House (in Herne, Kent), you will have the chance to deliver excellent standards of food without the need for split shifts and long weeks.
Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for creating nutritious, flavoursome and well-balanced menus whilst working with residents to tailor menus around them.We are proud to deliver person-centred hospitality across our service and look for warm, motivated and passionate cooks who are driven by quality.

The rate of pay is £11.94 per hour.Job OpportunityAs a Cook at Strode Park House, you will be expected to:Ensure residents' dietary needs are met.Design menus for residents.Liaise with the Registered Home Manager to plan and cost menus.Provide a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of available fresh foods.Ensure full compliance with all food hygiene and safety regulations.As a Strode Park Foundation colleague, you will get comprehensive support from day one and will receive training and development opportunities to develop your skills.Strode Park House is a residential home with nursing care for 55 adults with physical disabilities and complex needs in Herne, Kent. We've been delivering care since 1946, and this residential home is where it all started.The team at Strode Park House ensures our residents live in a safe and secure environment; each person's individual wellbeing, dignity and choice is vitally important within the community of residents who live at or come for a short break.
