Responsibilities:
Handle a diverse caseload of conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and lease extensions.
Provide expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the entire conveyancing process, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions.
Conduct thorough due diligence on properties, including title searches, land registry checks, and property surveys.
Prepare and review legal documentation, including contracts, deeds, and lease agreements.
Manage multiple transactions simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
Keep up-to-date with changes in property law and conveyancing practices.
Requirements:
Qualified solicitor or conveyancing executive with a minimum of 1 year of experience in conveyancing.
Strong knowledge of the conveyancing property market within Central London.
Excellent understanding of property law, regulations, and procedures.
Proven track record of handling a high volume of conveyancing cases independently.
Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal matters to clients.
Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
Ability to work in a pressured environment and deliver desired results.
Membership in the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) is preferred.
