Responsibilities Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and startup of all types of instrumentation and logic control systems including: Flowmeters; magnetic, venturi, orifice plate Differential pressure; flow, level Level; ultrasonic, capacitance Analyzers; filter backwash optimization, turbidity, pH, gas Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) PLC and SCADA system programming Provide on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting support for control systems Perform system testing and validation to ensure proper functionality and performance Conduct training sessions for customers on the operation and maintenance of control systems Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations while working on-site Develop and maintain long-term client relationships as well as be a team player with other staff members. Travel throughout the United States is required, approximately 25% of the year. Minimum Requirements 2-year technical degree Minimum of 5 years significant experience in municipal (water/wastewater) automation projects including complex field service installation and startup activities. Minimum of 5 years knowledge and experience with gravity filter system backwash procedures and filter backwash optimization technology, Biogas and Filter Membrane Technology project experience is a plus.
