Control System Engineer

Job Description A brand new and exciting opportunity for an Automation Engineer / Control Engineer / Control Systems Engineer / Controls Software Engineer has arisen at a world-renowned multinational R&D organisation.
You will be a key member of the engineering team as they grow and develop their brand-new state-of-the-art pilot plant / R&D facility / CDMO pharmaceutical, chemical, and materials manufacturing unit in Watford.
As the Controls and Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, startup and managing and/or maintaining new process equipment and software on PLC, HMI and SCADA systems.
You will be developing detailed specification, engineering documents, SOP and operating standards.
You will also be responsible for the ownership and administration of process control automation in a GMP regulated manufacturing setting.
You'll be working closely with scientists, software engineers, and mechanical engineers - this is an exciting opportunity to use your engineering skills across a range of disciplines!
