Job Title: Control System Engineer Location: Multiple locations across England UK Daresbury Leeds Burton on Trent Newcastle Reading About the Job: We are seeking candidates for the role of Control Systems Engineer in Daresbury England for a prominent employer in the automation sector.
Our client is a leading independently owned company specializing in property and infrastructure support services providing comprehensive building and facilities management solutions.
They cater to customers in the utilities pharmaceuticals food & beverage and chemicals industries delivering specialized support for projects managed by other service providers.
Due to ongoing growth we are looking to add multiple Control Systems Engineers to their expanding team.
Requirements Key Responsibilities: Comprehend the entire project lifecycle from concept to completion.
Take responsibility for tasks or projects ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Create specifications and design documentation.
Configure and develop software for a variety of applications.
Safely test and commission systems in operational enduser environments.
Uphold high standards and consistency throughout the design process.
Collaborate effectively within a team and adapt to various environments.
Ensure adherence to all requirements of the company s Integrated Management System.
Skills / Qualifications: Knowledge of realtime control system design and commissioning.
Proficiency in control system software design and testing.
Strong understanding of Electrical Control Panels and commissioning processes.
Experience with the following systems and platforms: Rockwell ControlLogix Siemens TIA Portal Rockwell HMI (FTView ME & SE) AVEVA System Platform Schneider ClearSCADA PLC Software: Rockwell Siemens Mitsubishi Schneider HMI/SCADA Systems: Rockwell FTView ME and SE AVEVA InTouch and System Platform Schneider ClearSCADA GE iFIX Siemens WinCC Telemetry Systems: Schneider Brodersen Seprol S2000 Networks: Fibre Optic Ethernet Profibus Experience: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous experience as a Control Systems Engineer.
Willingness to travel across the UK.
Personable and presentable demeanor.
Selfmotivated adaptable and eager to learn.
Experience in the Water sector (desirable).
Key Criteria: Reside within 45 minutes of the relevant office.
Hold a full UK driving license.
Possess the right to work in the UK / meet VISA requirements.
Willing to relocate if necessary.

Contact Skills / Qualifications: Knowledge on PLC, either Siemens/ Allen Bradley Knowledge on PLC and SCADA system Basic understanding of RTU and Telemetry is a plus but not mandatory Experience in the water industry is a plus but not mandatory Key Criteria: You should have completed qualifications in a relevant field, such as: ONC, NVQ Level 3, or an equivalent qualification, or a time-served apprenticeship.
At least 2+ years of experience in PLC Programming A full, valid UK driving license is required.
