Our projects range in value from £5k to £15m, taking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes, and supporting our valued Tier 1 contractor clients in a subcontractor and off-site manufacturing capacity.
The Role To be responsible for building control panels in accordance with BS7671, Bridges Health & Safety Rules and Essential Standards.
Contracted to 40hrs per week Monday to Friday.
To understand the designs, identify potential issues, size cables and confirm correct components Ensure that all items are built to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans To follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment To coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values To act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges Requirements Panel Build experience Punctuality and reliability Willingness to learn and undertake occupational and Health and Safety training Numeric and reading skills Prepared to take responsibility for self and others Good communication skills Able to work on own initiative Ability to give and take instruction Benefits BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR BRIDGES RoSPA Gold Medal winner, Bridges - is an excellent company to work for and a great place to develop your career.
