Contracts Manager, Senior Manager

Abatec are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager, to join our client, a National Civil Engineering contractor with offices in Bournemouth & Bristol.
This position will be working on the newly awarded Wessex Water Framework for AMP8 with the ideal candidate being based between Bournemouth and Bristol.
With new schemes due to break ground in April 2025, our client is keen to appoint the successful individual as soon as possible however they must have previous water sector experience, to lead their team, in delivering a portfolio of works with individual projects ranging between £2m - £10m.
This role will have overall responsibility for the management and success of a number of projects, including customer relations, health and safety, quality, environmental, programme and the cost/value of operations under his/her control.
Review methods of working, alternative materials etc in order to maximise commercial profitability; Managing, monitoring, supporting, mentoring and counselling members of the project teams in their personal development.
Directly supervises a number of project teams comprising project and site managers, engineers, quantity surveyors and foremen etc.
Experience in a similar Contract Management role for a main contractor within the water sector
CITB Level 3 Safety Course
Appropriate CSCS Card
High level of leadership and management skills
High level of Commercial and Financial ability
Full driving licence
