Role: Contracts Manager Location: Birmingham Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 per annum + Bonuses, Car Allowance, Pension Sector: Flooring Position Overview of the Contracts Manager: On behalf of our client, we are recruiting for an experienced and driven Contracts Manager.
In this role, you will oversee the management and delivery of multiple resin flooring projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards while adhering to budgets and schedules.
You will work closely with the wider team and clients to ensure that all contractual obligations are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Manager: Contract Oversight: Manage and oversee all contractual aspects of works, from initial agreements to final delivery.
Client Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contractual matters, addressing queries and ensuring their needs are met.
Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with contractual, environmental, health, safety, and CDM 2015 regulations.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with the on-site team to coordinate project activities, schedules, and resource allocation.
Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and addressing any financial discrepancies.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues within contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contract-related documents and communications.
Qualifications & Experience of the Contracts Manager: Experience: Proven experience in contract management within the industrial or commercial sector.
Experience in floor coating would be advantageous.
Skills: Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of contract law, project management principles, and industry regulations.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in contract management, construction management, or a related field (e.g., RICS, APM).
