Contracts Manager - Civils

Job Title: Civils Contracts Manager Job Type: ASAP Location: Bury St Edmunds Salary: £70k - £78k per annum + package Working Hours: 07.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday Our client, a prominent civil engineering, groundworks, and infrastructure specialist operating throughout East Anglia and the Southeast of England, is seeking a dedicated Civils Contracts Manager to join their team in Bury St Edmunds.
This is a permanent role offering the opportunity to lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects in a dynamic and evolving industry.
Responsibilities: Oversee and manage multiple civil engineering contracts from inception to completion Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Ensure projects are delivered within budget and timelines Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success Monitor project progress and quality standards Handle contract negotiations and variations Implement health and safety policies and procedures on-site Desirable Experience Proven experience as a Contracts Manager in the civil engineering sector Strong understanding of civil engineering processes and practices Excellent project management and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Effective communication and negotiation abilities Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Application Process: If you would like more information on this Civils Contracts Manager position or any other vacancy, please email your current CV through where it will be reviewed and you will be contacted if your CV is of interest.
