Role Overview:
We are looking for a personable and proactive Contractor Engagement Specialist to join RC Fornax.
In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our efforts to build lasting relationships with contractors, engage them with industry insights, and showcase the value RC Fornax brings as a veteran-owned consultancy with deep roots in the defence sector.

Main Responsibilities:
Contractor Engagement: Build authentic relationships with defence contractors, acting as the primary point of contact for their needs, career aspirations and placement opportunities.

Community Development: Foster a vibrant and engaged network of contractors, ensuring they feel valued as part of the RC Fornax community.

Industry Insights & Support: Provide contractors with timely updates on defence sector trends, IR35 implications, and other relevant topics to keep them informed and empowered.

Outreach Activities: Confidently engage with contractors through phone calls, events, and digital platforms to expand our network and maintain regular contact.

Feedback Loop: Actively seek feedback from contractors to understand their experiences, needs and challenges.
Use this insight to continuously improve RC Fornax's services and placement processes.

Content Creation: Support the creation of contractor-focused content such as newsletters, blog posts, and insight reports to drive engagement.

Event Coordination: Organise and participate in community-building events, such as networking sessions and industry webinars, to strengthen our contractor connections.

Qualifications:
A friendly and outgoing individual who thrives on building relationships and making connections.

Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with diverse professionals within the defence sector.

Interest in or knowledge of the defence contractor market and IR35 legislation (training will be provided where needed).

A proactive, solution-focused approach with a passion for helping contractors succeed.

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple engagement activities.

A willingness to listen and use feedback to improve processes and strengthen relationships.
