Contract Specialist - Part-Time Opportunity - Remote

A forward-thinking private equity-backed business, is seeking an experienced Contract Manager to join the team on a part-time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Contracts Specialist to lead a team of trainee solicitors, while working closely with both the business and its established legal team.
Key responsibilities include: Supervising, managing, and mentoring trainee solicitors involved in contract and engagement letter review.
Acting as the primary knowledge centre within the business on engagement letters and contracts, including acting as the gatekeeper of precedent documents.
Drafting and negotiating engagement letters and contracts with third parties.
Developing standard, pre-agreed documents with key third party providers.
Supervising outsourcing providers to ensure timely and accurate document review.
Accurately tracking and monitoring engagement letters and contracts and ensure that completed documents are stored in an efficient and comprehensive manner.
Ideally you will have proven experience as a contract specialist or commercial lawyer, either in-house with a contract management team or in private practice in a supervisory or management role.
You will also be innovative, with a strong focus on process improvement, including exploring the use of AI tools to enhance contract management.
This role offers flexibility, with options for remote, hybrid, or part-time work for the right candidate.
