Contract Mechanical Fitter 6 Months (Initially) £39 per hour (Inside IR35) On-site / Helensburgh Must hold an Active Security Clearance Shift Pattern: Dayshift 08:05 - 16:45 (Monday to Thursday) 08:05 - 12:05 (Friday) iO Associates has partnered with an Engineering Consultancy in the recruitment of multiple Mechanical Fitters.
To be considered to work on the Defence project, you must have the relevant skillset listed below: Hold specialism specific NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Marine or Mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Must be in a position to undertake Marine mechanical fitting activities, inspections, fault finding and repairs on various systems and equipment on all RN and other entitled vessels.
Hydraulic Systems, Air Systems, Saltwater Systems.
Understanding/Experience in Pressure Testing.
Mechanical experience - Overhauling Valves, Fitting & Fairing of mechanical components.
Must have working at heights and confined space certificate.
Must hold an in date fit to work certificate from a recognised occupational health practitioner or GP Please note , proof of SC status, and certifications must be provided along with your CV application.
These are urgent contracts with the deadline to start work on the 2nd of December.
