Contract Rate: £300-£500 per day (dependent on experience)

As a Mechanical Design Engineer (Contractor), you will:
Lead the design process by developing detailed mechanical schematics for specialised industrial automation systems using SolidWorks.
Engineer pneumatic solutions , creating robust designs and schematics tailored to meet project needs.
Specify high-performance components , ensuring seamless integration within automation systems.
Collaborate with talented teams , working closely with design and application engineers to meet project deadlines.

5+ years of experience in designing industrial automation or special-purpose machinery.
~ A strong background in 3D CAD design , preferably SolidWorks.
~ A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (2:1 or above).
~ Bonus Points for:
~ Experience with machine vision technology and vision system integration.
