Contract Manager

Fabric Contract Manager required ideally with some civil experience.
This position is to partially cover 50,000 sqft of purpose-built office facilities for R&D Systems.
Set in an attractive landscaped location to the north east of Abingdon-on-Thames town centre and within walking distance of local amenities.
With approximately 3,000 people on site and 80 buildings, a substantial amount of which date back to the 1940s, there is a lot to manage regarding upkeep and life cycle issues.
Public sector experience would be advantageous, as the role involves dealing with multiple stakeholders.
The client is looking for a strong Contract Manager to collaborate with another Contract Manager focusing on the M&E aspect of the site.
The ideal candidate will be innovative, offering a fresh approach to the team.
P&L experience is required.
The perfect candidate will have practical experience, possibly having worked on a building site, and must understand how to fix issues and manage people effectively.
This is a brand new position, offering the right person the opportunity to shape the role.
Working for a large, well-established Building Services company, this role will move quickly, with a target to start permanent employment in December 2024.
