The Role Joining an established Dispute Resolution team, you will have the chance to specialise in contentious probate work, contributing to the team's Legal 500-recognised reputation.
You will handle a variety of cases, including disputes over wills, inheritance claims, estate administration challenges, and trust disputes.
Key Responsibilities: Advising clients on all aspects of contentious probate, with a focus on delivering sensitive and practical solutions.
Managing a diverse caseload of contentious probate matters, including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 and disputes over the validity of wills.
Drafting and negotiating settlements and representing clients in court when necessary.
Collaborating with the Private Client team to provide a joined-up service for clients.
Actively engaging in business development to grow the firm's contentious probate offering.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
Requirements: Qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years PQE in dispute resolution, contentious probate, or private client law.
A passion for contentious probate and a keen interest in building expertise in this specialist area.
Strong technical skills and a proven ability to manage your own caseload.
Exceptional client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters professionally.
Proactive and team-oriented, with a commitment to supporting the firm's growth.
