We're seeking an experienced Content Strategist to drive the ideation, research, and development of impactful ad concepts for our brand.
This role is ideal for someone who stays up-to-date on content trends, thrives on competitor research, and can translate winning ideas into high-performing ad strategies across platforms.
Content Responsibilities: Competitor Research : Analyze direct, semi-direct, and indirect competitors using tools like ad libraries, Atria, and spies to spot effective content concepts.
Concept Development : Research and implement ad concepts that resonate with our brand's voice, drawing inspiration from various formats (e.g., TikTok and Twitter examples) and relevant brands.
Hook Identification and Ideation : Identify successful hooks from our brand and competitors, then iterate, imitate, and ideate new visuals and messaging for continuous fresh ideas.
Trend Analysis : Review media buyer reports weekly to identify successful trends and apply these insights to upcoming campaigns.
Funnel Awareness : Strategize content for each funnel stage (TOF, MOF, BOF), ensuring intentional and targeted messaging at every level.
Content Documentation : Develop clear briefs for creators and editors to streamline the production process and refine systems for continuous improvement.
Creator Management : Source, onboard, and manage creators through platforms like Insense and Backstage, re-engaging top performers for consistent quality.
Content Management Tools : Leverage Air to organize, tag, and manage brand assets, and use Flair to efficiently request edits from editors.
Copywriting Responsibilities: Craft Engaging Copy : Write persuasive, on-brand copy for video ads, static ads, and other marketing content that resonates with our target audience.
Refine Messaging : Test and iterate ad copy to find effective hooks and messaging approaches, adapting based on performance data.
Funnel-Specific Messaging : Tailor copy for each stage of the funnel, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience at the right time.
Requirements: Proven experience in content strategy for e-commerce, with a focus on ad concepts and competitor research.
Strong understanding of funnels and audience targeting at each stage.
Excellent organizational and communication skills to align with creators, editors, and the broader team.
