About The Role HomeServe are currently recruiting for a Contact Centre Agent to join HomeServe Limited.
This is a new role to join the growing Consumer Finance businessat Group level.
The successful candidate will have a second language of German or Spanish.
This role will be based in our Leeds office full time.
With that in mind you will be located within a convenient commute to Colton, Leeds.
You will be responsible for responding to customer and partner queries as well as contacting customers to collect overdue payments for both our UK and German businesses.
Additionally, you will also be responsible for the onboarding of new customers for our German business.
The contact centre agent must have strong communication and negotiation skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Customer Service: - Responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Providing excellent customer service by addressing customer needs and concerns effectively.
- Maintaining positive relationships with customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.
2.
Collection: - Contacting customers to collect overdue payments or outstanding balances.
- Negotiating payment arrangements with customers to ensure timely collection.
- Following up on payment commitments and resolving any collection issues.

Underwriting: - Evaluating and assessing applications to determine risk and eligibility.
- Analysingfinancial and credit information to make underwriting decisions.
- Evaluating applications based on underwriting guidelines and regulations.

Admin: - Admin work as required About The Candidate KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES Essential: Experience in customer service and/or debt collection.
Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
Degree qualified or suitable alternative experience Desirable: Knowledge of financial products and services is a plus Experience in underwriting in finance services would be helpful Experience gained within the consumer finance industry Fluency in both German and Spanish (written and verbal) TPBN1_UKTJ
