Consumer Insight Manager | De'Longhi Group (De'Longhi, Kenwood and Braun) | Kenwood Global Headquarters, Havant, Hampshire | £Competitive + excellent benefits package The closing date for applications is the 2nd December 2024 Champion consumer insights: drive data-led growth at De'Longhi Group Consumer data is encoded human behaviour.
De'Longhi Group is now seeking a Consumer Insight Manager to help us read, interpret and act on that behaviour at a new level, and for a new era of data-driven marketing.
Success in this new role means helping us to say "we know" instead of "we think" - and for that to become our culture.
You'll help us to better understand what drives our business and ensure the customer voice informs our strategy.
The role Initially you'll interrogate and establish control of our data, helping to identify and create a new cadence of reports and insight from across the organisation, and establishing how we measure and evaluate our activities as a team.
As well as raw data, you'll be working with a lot of data sources such as GFK, Nielson brand tracking, and econometric modelling.
Your insights will deepen our understanding of consumers in all product categories, providing the "why" behind everything we do in the future, and driving sustainable growth.
More specifically, you'll help the marketing team to apply data-driven insights into their plans and daily activity to improve performance.
Key responsibilities Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following: Developing and managing our consumer insight strategy, deliverables, and budget, ensuring deep consumer and shopper understanding through qualitative and quantitative research.
Embedding a Measurement Framework to track proven growth drivers across De'Longhi brands, analysing shopper behaviours and preferences.
Collaborating with the Marketing Director to establish an annual marketing planning process and performance KPIs.
Collating and distributing key management reports promptly, ensuring actionable insights and holding departments accountable for timely completion.
Presenting clear, jargon-free research findings, highlighting consumer trends and actionable insights for informed decision-making.
Overseeing consumer feedback and review platforms to ensure the Voice of the Consumer informs necessary changes.
Evaluating and supporting entry into emerging channels and product categories, focusing on untapped consumer presence and competitive advantage.
Acting as a consumer and shopper advocate, liaising with global marketing stakeholders to align market-centric tools and strategies.
About you You'll have demonstrable success in a consumer insight, market research or similar field, and a degree or equivalent in Marketing or Business.
You'll be empathetic and naturally curious about how and why people behave as they do, and your mixture of analytical mind and creative imagination will allow you to bring customers to life from data.
You'll be comfortable in an influential role where you will liaise with our senior team and are excellent at articulating clearly the insights you glean from data – locally and also to our colleagues at our Global Headquarters based in Italy.
Proven ability running research projects, and an understanding of relevant methodologies, is important.
You'll need to be proficient at the MS Office Suite, CRM systems and research resources, with demonstrable skill managing agencies to deliver high performance.
Crucially, you'll have the passion, drive and skills in both multitasking and communication to make this new role work.
The challenge of doing so must be one you embrace and enjoy.
What's in it for you?
This is an opportunity to help us create a culture where we turn data into insight and then act upon it.
Your role is a highly visible one that teams across the group are excited to embrace and see succeed - and if you're successful, it's likely you'll grow your remit.
Our work environment and investment into staff is outstanding, and our extensive benefits include: Competitive incentivised salary Excellent contributory pension 25 days holiday + bank holidays Superb subsidised restaurant Free on-site parking Flexible benefits package Access to a range of wellbeing activities and events About us De'Longhi Group is home to the De'Longhi, Kenwood and Braun Household brands—all pioneering kitchen and home appliance brands that are internationally recognised and respected.

The location Your reporting office will be Kenwood's global HQ on the beautiful South Coast between Portsmouth and Chichester, where our products are conceived and tested, and where our UK De'Longhi division is based.
We operate a flexible, hybrid working model: you'll typically work three days at our office, client sites and two at home.
This role may involve occasional (but not extensive) overseas travel.
